Barn Production Group is a Chicago-based production company bringing concerts, events, and pop-ups to life in the Chicagoland area. We started as The Barn, a DIY venue at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2023. Rooted in the local scene, we’re proud to support emerging talent while delivering professional-level production. BPG offers affordable and reliable services for musicians, creators, and venues who need marketing, production, and technical support.
Our History
Starting in the winter of 2023, The Barn was a DIY venue located in Urbana, IL catering to the UIUC student population and the local community. Second to Chicago, Urbana-Champaign has been a hub for live music and musicians for decades. Bands from across the Midwest have been traveling down to Urbana-Champaign regularly to play at both established and DIY venues. With the help of the dozens of bands that kept the Champaign-Urbana music scene alive, we were able to host 18 shows in our time and win best DIY venue by our peers.
